Speed ceiling = flow cap ÷ (layer height × line width), capped at 500 mm/s. The caps are the Bambu Studio filament presets listed in our filament settings guide. For 0.6 and 0.8 mm nozzles the tool scales the cap by nozzle diameter ÷ 0.4, a rule of thumb rather than a Bambu figure. It does not calculate AMS purge volume.
